What is Spam (Wiki)?
- the use (better call it "abuse") of electronic messaging systems (including most broadcast media, digital delivery systems) to send unsolicited bulk messages indiscriminately.
- the person who sent and create spam is called spammers.
Type of spam:
- Comment spam : people/machine sending random or "useless" comments or promotes unwanted ads/commercial services in blog's comments
- Spam blog (splog) : a blog created with duplicate content from the Net - created to fool internet users and search engines
- actually there is many type of spam, but I only choose two~
Spam is the thing we don't ever wanted in our blog, and it's existence is unavoidable. Yes, we can fight spam, by filtering and blocking it's way into our blog. Now Blogger has enabled their spam detection for our blog's comments, but we still need to filter again which one is spam which is not.
Click on the 'Comments' link under your blog title in dashboard:

- Published: All approved comments for our blog will be displayed here
- Awaiting moderation: If you enable comments moderation, you will see those unpublished comments here
- Spam: All spam comments will be here for us to filter again or to be deleted
So, with this handy tools, we hope that we can control spam effectively. While not everything is perfect, we can report any Blogger issues in their forum. For more related article, refer to:
